Grateful Patient Donates to St. Anthony's Charitable Foundation

“I believe in angels,” says south St. Louis County resident Patricia Ferronato. “If I didn’t, I wouldn’t be here.”
Ferronato, hospitalized for cancer treatment last year, found a special way to thank those who took care of her by making a donation to the St. Anthony’s Charitable Foundation. “I was treated so well that when I heard about a way to thank everyone for all they did, I was happy to give something back,” says Ferronato.
She made her donation through the Foundation’s Grateful Patient, Family and Friends Program. The program is a way to help patients and their families recognize and express appreciation for the care received at St. Anthony’s. “I’m thankful to all the wonderful people who took care of me at St. Anthony’s,” says Ferronato. “It was easy to thank them in this way.”
