Kudos to

to "Above and Beyond" recipients Carol Brown, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit; Michelle Kinsey, Acute Rehab Therapy; Mike Seeley,Cardiac Medical ICU; Geri Tyrey, Acute Rehab Therapy; and Aaron Rippelmeyer, CMICU. (10/20/2014)

to the nurses from the Cardiac-Medical Intensive Care Unit (CMICU), who shared the latest evidence-based practice they learned at the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN) National Teaching Institute (NTI) in Denver, Colo., in May. Titled "A Slice of NTI at SAMC," the presentation in the hospital auditorium marked the first time staff nurses attending a national conference have returned and given formal PowerPoint presentations on their topics. About 20 of their co-workers in the ICU and Stepdown units, nurse managers and educators attended the event. (10/6/2014)
