MRI Technologist, Imaging Department
I joined St. Anthony’s Imaging Department 20 years ago. If they’ll have me, I’ll stay here until I retire. I enjoy my work in the imaging field. The radiologists are a great group of doctors who make themselves accessible at any time.
Some people who come in for an MRI are nervous and intimidated – they don’t know what to expect. We spend time explaining everything and making sure they’re comfortable. If they want, we will stay in the room with them throughout the test, so they know they are not alone. We never want our patients to feel like just a number. Taking the best possible care of our patients – that’s what we do here.
