Willie-Hall Ferry easily has accumulated more than 12,000 volunteer hours.

Volunteers are valuable to the St. Anthony's community, assisting patients, patients' families and friends and employees. Hundreds of junior and adult volunteers offer their time, energy and talent to many areas of St. Anthony’s Medical Center from the gift shop and information desk to the clinical areas. In addition, St. Anthony's offers opportunities with the Auxiliary.
Men and women who are willing to serve are all welcome as volunteers. Teens and young adults (14 and older) may serve as junior volunteers during the Summer Volunteer Program.
When you agree to volunteer at St. Anthony’s Medical Center, you are given a role that best meets the Medical Center's current needs, and that fits with your interests and abilities. For example, some positions may require more walking or standing, while others do not. Some positions may require more interaction with patients, while others may require more technical skills.
Each new volunteer completes an application and attends a general orientation class. Volunteers have personal interviews and are given specific training in the appropriate departments. There is flexibility in the days, hours and frequency that you can contribute. Any time you can give is appreciated.
Volunteer opportunities are available in a variety of areas:
