St. Anthony's Medical Center is committed to publicly reporting the quality of medical care we provide for our patients. To ensure apples-to-apples comparison of hospitals, we participate in the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and Hospital Quality Alliance (HQA) data reports. This information measures how well hospitals across the county care for their adult patients, regardless of whether the care was paid for by Medicare,

Other Quality Programs
St. Anthony's Medical Center also participates in the Institute for Healthcare Improvements (IHI) 5 Million Lives Campaign. This national campaign is saving lives by working with hospitals to implement the following proven techniques:
- stop medication errors
- follow heart attack treatment guidelines
- prevent respirator pneumonia
- prevent IV-catheter infections
- stop surgical site infections
- use rapid response teams
