Senior Services

One-Stop Care for Seniors

Whether you're a family member, spouse, caregiver or geriatric care professional, Senior Services at St. Anthony's Medical Center eliminates the hassle and frustration of making countless phone calls and waiting weeks for appointments for your loved one or client. The service is available for those living in long-term care facilities, assisted living and independent-living residents, as well as older adults living in their own homes or apartments.

One Call

With a single phone call, you can schedule outpatient tests, physician appointments and transportation. Call 314-525-1892 and our Senior Services staff takes care of the rest. See more about how to schedule an appointment.

One Stop

Our Senior Services Center is designed exclusively to meet the health care needs of seniors and the frail elderly. The center offers a complete range of outpatient ancillary, diagnostic and surgical services as well as consultation with specialists.

When specialized medical consultation is required, Senior Services makes scheduling an appointment easy and convenient. Our staff makes the arrangements and seniors are seen by specialists in our clinic.

Transportation

Senior Services provides transportation to St. Anthony's Medical Center for ambulatory or wheelchair residents of skilled-nursing, assisted-living or independent-living facilities on their scheduled appointment days. In addition, the Home Transport Program provides round-trip transportation for adults age 60 and older and people with disabilities from their homes to St. Anthony’s sponsored services.

Personal Assistance

A Senior Services staff member greets each patient upon arrival and accompanies the patient to the appropriate department or physician appointment. With our commitment to efficient service, seniors spend minimal time waiting. If the appointment time extends through a mealtime, Senior Services provides a complimentary meal.

Follow-up

All clinical information including results of the physician exam, laboratory, X-ray and other testing is provided to the patient's physician or nursing care facility. Senior Services will notify the caregiver or facility as well as the client if follow-up visits are necessary.
